We’re stronger together.

We currently have several well-run and profitable software companies in our group, each with its own product line and a high level of recurring revenue streams. Each business also has its own management team to ensure the optimal running of the company. These management teams often benefit from exchanging knowledge and experiences with their colleagues in other group enterprises. Over time, we accumulate value, both in the individual businesses and in the group as a whole. We belong together, in a shared context. However, each company maintains full control over its own operations.

From being a single-product company targeting independent schools, DSS is today an EdTech software provider with a broad palette of solutions catering to the entire educational market.

This has transformed the company from its origins as a system provider in the area of assistance to an end-to-end supplier for the entire care sector.

What do our businesses say about us?

At this point, our seasoned crew have completed this journey many times and we know it works. Here are a few words from just some of the companies we have bought and their views on our work. Their feedback is our greatest reward.

Christian Ljunge, Allevi

Simply awesome!

The Allevi group consists of a series of companies and products dedicated to the development of support systems for providers within the health and care sectors. Or rather, dedicated to creating time and space for human contact and care instead of administration.

The CEO of the Allevi group is Christian Ljunge. Christian’s former career was in the care sector and by adding his expertise to the Pamir group we have managed to build a truly excellent company together.

The business has progressed from solely providing a software solution for assistance to become an end-to-end provider within the care sector, multiplying in size with a resultant increased profitability.

As part of Pamir, I’m free to set the agenda while at the same time enjoying the support of their expertise and capital. It’s simply awesome! Pamir seriously aims to build great companies with long-term perspectives.”

Christian goes on to recount how good it feels to work with owners who have a long-term vision. The Pamir group is also very receptive to proposals to scale up the enterprise, should he identify a company or companies that can strengthen the business. This is the great advantage of being a part of the Pamir group while still feeling like an entrepreneur.

Jonas Karlsson, CtrlPrint

+ 300%!!!

Jonas Karlsson is CEO and co-founder of CtrlPrint, a company that has a developed a service for streamlining the generation of financial reports.

In 2017, the company had five co-owners, three of whom were ready to leave. The remaining owners needed new, skilled partners and a fresh start. They were looking for a growth partner.

Through his own network from student days, Jonas Karlsson heard about Pamir and got in touch. Pamir’s ideas aligned beautifully with Jonas’s own – to build a fantastic company!

The process of selling to Pamir was an illuminating experience and when it was done we had drawn up a clear, shared plan for the company,” says Jonas Karlsson.

Some time has passed since Pamir climbed aboard with CtrlPrint, and Jonas is more than satisfied with his choice of partner. The company has established itself in several countries and multiplied its turnover. The journey continues…

Jane Larsson, 2c8

I’ve reduced my handicap by two

JanE Larsson was CEO and principal owner of 2c8. The company delivers a software solution for modelling and mapping enterprises of all types. To say they are successful is somewhat of an understatement – they now have 1 200 customers in 30 countries!

JanE was courted for many years by potential suitors but only really took an interest when Pamir showed up and offered to buy a majority share in the company. This offer suited JanE perfectly as he wished to remain part-owner and continue working as CEO.

Pamir presented as consummate professionals from the get-go. They had no hidden agendas but rather played their cards straight and the parties quickly reached an agreement on the future form of the business. It became the natural next step for the company.

In March 2020, we resolved to move forward and the transaction was concluded in June of the same year. During 2021, I felt that everything was running smoothly and that it would soon be time for me to take the next step, so in June of 2022 a new CEO was appointed. I’m now on the board and working hard at reducing my golf handicap.”
